It all started when…
My Canadian work visa was delayed a few months. So... I moved to Mexico with my business partner to avoid having to head back to my homeland - England and be 8 hours ahead of our company's timezone. Blessings really do come in disguise. Mexico taught me so much. It tamed my inpatient, stressed-unnecessarily, Type-A disposition and taught me to embrace life with more humour and to not take myself too seriously. I reconnected with nature and reaped the benefits of taking time off to relax.
My work visa arrived but I didn't head back to Canada. Instead my business partner and I decided that it would be a great idea to create a space for companies to reap the benefits we did from being in a different environment, surrounded by nature, relaxing, doing fun activities and bonding as a team (skypad.com). Thanks to a lovable rescue dog, we were lead to the perfect location. We started running yoga retreats to nail down our operations (yogaretreats.co).
From the very first retreat, I realised I had found my calling. I was blown away by the amazing comments from the guests about our program and I was almost brought to tears by the bond I saw grow between them during the retreat. I realised how much we lack real human connection and how fulfilling it is to meet fellow humans who are on the same journey. I saw the importance of have a safe space to be vulnerable and the right guidance so that you can grow.
After the success of the yoga program, I decided to branch off and open a new location with a broader range of programs. Plus, we partnered with the amazing team at Casa Coco on Isla Mujeres so that we have an approved location on the East Coast.
We are flattered to have pure 5* reviews that you can find here.
Hopefully my amazing team and I will get a chance to meet you down here in paradise. It would be our pleasure.
Yours in health + happiness,
