FAQ

Mexico seems really dangerous is it safe to travel there?

There are dangerous parts of Mexico and they are broadcast widely in mainstream media, however that does not mean the whole country is dangerous. Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita are very safe, 10 million tourists visit from the US every year and there is a huge ex-pat community who prefer living in Mexico. If it was so dangerous, they wouldn’t keep visiting or decide to move here. Punta Mita is especially safe that is why tech billionaires and celebrities have no problem vacationing or investing in property here. In addition, our retreat villa is in a private complex with 24 hour security.

How far is it to the beach?

The beach is at the bottom of a flight of stairs from the terrace of the villa. The villa overlooks the beach so you hear the waves from the Pacific Ocean at all times. You can chill out on the terrace and watch the surfers or one of the epic sunsets we are lucky to have here.

Is it possible to swim in the ocean?

Yes, the water is lovely and warm and the waves are generally calm. There are some rocks so we recommend swimming with water shoes.

Is there surfing nearby?

There is a surf break right outside. We have foam boards on-site, there are more advanced boards for rent. If you want more variety, we can arrange transport to other breaks nearby or you can try out the waves in Sayulita.

What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). The villa is 50 minutes from the airport.

How do I get from the airport to the retreat?

Is there WiFi?
